I think I saw some people asking in other forum, but would you ever implement a gallery function that include all the dialogues and actions before, during and after nsfw scenes?
I am not doing marketing here, but similar to what the game Seed of Chaos offers with scene replays.
It's been awhile so I don't know if such option already exist in Uni but I remember that in the past you could only see an still image of unlocked scenes.
I LOVED the scene we're Chelsea and kate cuddled up in bed and i wanted to ask if the other main roots will have those kinds of CG's too? Because its so damn cute i need more! (I don't know about Matt though...) And im excited for the next emotional update for kate... Im kinda scared but excited!
I'm glad you love him enough to completely want to forgo all erotic scenes with him. You're still going to get some erotic scenes with him eventually, but it's all a healthy romance. I think you'll wind up loving him even more once we work on his full route again.
Are you ever going to expand that vague message and warning about going dark alleyways at night into anything? A potential kidnapping that could have escape/game overs could be good.
I tried everything, but I can't seem to trigger meeting Matt's mom. It's supposed to happen on a work day before Matt comes to my house according to the walkthrough, but Matt comes to my house on a Monday. Any tips on how to trigger the event?
This is a strange bug that we found that SHOULD be fixed in the latest version. It should happen immediately after Nathan visits you at work, but sometimes for some reason the event with Nathan would refuse to trigger.
That's pretty interesting to hear there's something similar to Damien's route out there. Granted though, a person gaining an unhealthy obsession with another isn't very uncommon.
No, we're focusing on finishing Kate's route. After that Violet has been voted to be the next route we work to complete. Who comes after that will depend on which route wins the Patreon/Subscribestar polls.
Hey, I've been reading your posts on Patreon, it seems you are putting up a seperated sfw version due to nsfw contents being unlisted on the site.
However for those whom already paid for this, we are still able to download, not to mention this page is still accessible from direct link and google search.
this project is not like it's gone or confiscated.
will you keep this project updated regularly following the promise you have? (a month after Patreon or something like that)
No, we are not putting up a separate SFW version, it is just a separate page for the public demo of the game. This is so people can find the game on Itch. Since this page was delisted by itch due to payment processors forcing them to remove paid NSFW games from being searched.
This page, our main project page, will exist alongside the demo page and will still be updated as usual.
The Public Demo has it's own project page now. That's it.
Yes, the page will still receive updates, the only thing that has changed is our game being able to be found by searching on Itch itself, which has tanked our viewership of the page by a massive amount and severed our income from itch nearly completely.
I agree that if the game was taken down by Itch, it would be completely unfair to ask people who bought it here to pay a second time, however, we have no way ourselves to honor those purchases elsewhere.
Hopefully the game will stay as far as from their reach, I'm glad to hear this page will still receive updates. I'm looking forward to future updates, have a good day!
Might I recommend you try selling on GoG games, they are making a stand against censorship and are always willing to support creators. Plus, they had huge success with their #freedomtobuy campaign, I do enjoy this game very much and want to see it and your team succeed
The problem here is not itch.io but the payment processors. itch.io is as much a victim as the game developers. If the processors block payments to itch.io then itch.io cannot pay any of the developers, so had to do something.
Any other platform will eventually face the same problem.
itch.io is a tiny company, so lacks the resources to quickly audit even just the adult content present. It is, at least, trying to support all of its customers. Uni and many others are still here, even if not searchable.
I'm not saying to not try other platforms, only that itch.io is trying to be supportive.
Hey, so in the wake of the recent situation, i wonder if something happen and with itch ability to generate invoices or verification of payment, would there be a way for people who decided to support you via itch to still receive the updates?
Or any other place where we could support you via one time purchase?
There is another website that may be able to host one time purchases.
Nutaku is a western h-game publishing company,
that also runs a website that hosts games that they themselves
did not publish.
The thing is, the company Nutaku sees themselves like steam, however, they are more like the google playstore, a lot of the popular games on that website are free gacha games with ai generated art, however it isn't too uncommen for normal h-games to be sold on the website.
Since the website only offers 18+ games and is pretty much only present in the western market. They will have to fight payment processors in court should they try to force them to ban 18+ content
Nutaku is on our list of potential websites we're going see about selling Uni on once it's completed.
For sites like that, that can reach a larger new audience I'd like the game to be as complete as possible for their first time experience. That's why our Steam page was going to be the public demo of the game and not the early access release version of the game.
Personally, I don't like Early Access for games, and if I could I'd release our games in a fully completed state from the get go with a demo beforehand. However, for independent game development it's just about the only way to get a game off the ground and running.
Your first experience with a game will always stick with you no matter how much it changes later on. Take No Mans Sky or Cyberpunk for example, games that released in horrible states and are STILL remembered for how horribly they launched.
Granted Cyberpunk still has it's issues that go beyond bugs, glitches, and poor QA, but that's a topic not meant for our itch comment section. XD
I completely agree with the fact that you want to release the game when its done on those websites, however given the circumstances, you may not have a choice. For me it's fine if an Indie game releases into early access and the devs keep working on the game, its just that AAA Studios should not release their games in early access
Like others, when I heard about the current situation with Itch, I decided to come here and check on things. The pages being de-indexed won't currently affect those of us who already have Uni in our library, but not being in Search or Browse is going to be a serious hit to discoverability.
You've put a ton of work into this, and it's deeply frustrating to see this happening. After being unable to list on steam because of the uniforms, it really sucks to see more issues like this happening to you.
I wish you and anyone you work with on this the best of luck with getting out of this relatively unscathed.

Hello there,
I think I saw some people asking in other forum, but would you ever implement a gallery function that include all the dialogues and actions before, during and after nsfw scenes?

It's been awhile so I don't know if such option already exist in Uni but I remember that in the past you could only see an still image of unlocked scenes.
Cheers,
At this moment no there will not be a scene replay gallery.
We'll revisit the idea when we're closer to completing the game.
There will be others with similar CGs. Violet already has one, and we're planning more for other routes past their locks as well.
You know what? Forget about NSFW scenes with Nathan
I want healthy romance, as if Nathan didn't have any erotic scene
Just Pure love, or something like that he be the only character who doesn't have erotic scenes
That's all :D
I'm glad you love him enough to completely want to forgo all erotic scenes with him. You're still going to get some erotic scenes with him eventually, but it's all a healthy romance. I think you'll wind up loving him even more once we work on his full route again.
I read about a stripclub in the recent notes. How does one get there? Can we work as a stripper?
For a brief period yes. You can find the strip club in the walk around events.
Are you ever going to expand that vague message and warning about going dark alleyways at night into anything? A potential kidnapping that could have escape/game overs could be good.
Since the beginning of development we've been planning an entire route for it. It's one of the post-1.0 routes planned.
looking forward to it
I tried everything, but I can't seem to trigger meeting Matt's mom. It's supposed to happen on a work day before Matt comes to my house according to the walkthrough, but Matt comes to my house on a Monday. Any tips on how to trigger the event?

Is Damien inspired by Joe Goldberg?
No, he was not.
After playing and watching YOU, I realized how similar Damien's route was to the plot of the first season of You.
That's pretty interesting to hear there's something similar to Damien's route out there. Granted though, a person gaining an unhealthy obsession with another isn't very uncommon.
is there a gallery option?
Yes, on the laptop.
Im waiting for an improvement at Nathan's Route, it's just the perfect route man
Same
I can't wait to start work on it again either.
Do you think there will be content from Matt's route later this year?
No, we're focusing on finishing Kate's route. After that Violet has been voted to be the next route we work to complete. Who comes after that will depend on which route wins the Patreon/Subscribestar polls.

glad to hear that, thanks!
also i think those credit card company should go eat s..t
I haven't played this game in awhile. Did more story get added during the photo club "Spoilers" missing sister?
We're currently working on each route as they are voted on. Bakery's route has been completed (writing) and now we're working on Kate's route.

Thank you!
$5-$10 maybe, but $25 is way too much for what this game offers.
That's just the name we gave Nathan when we were just starting work on him before he had a proper name.
I hope that things will go back to normal.here on itch soon, also am loving the cute youtube trailer you made for the game.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I think you're the first to ever comment about the trailer itself!
Might I recommend you try selling on GoG games, they are making a stand against censorship and are always willing to support creators. Plus, they had huge success with their #freedomtobuy campaign, I do enjoy this game very much and want to see it and your team succeed

We do plan to sell the game on GoG once we reach 1.0 as well as many other places.
Just FYI, I tried searching and could not find Uni.
Name search was useless.
Searching by tags, Eroge, Hentai and NSFW are not currently searchable.
The other tags, Dating Sim, Female Protagonist, Ren'Py, Romance and Yuri, were accepted, but did not list Uni
Yes, we're currently delisted on Itch.io

Puros factos. Espero que les vaya bien ahora y en adelante y que la censura de ciertos sitios como itch y Steam no les afecte.

Right now Uni can still be searched on Itch. This could change in the coming days however.
Hopefully we can continue as we have been, but things are precarious at the moment.
