I absolutely love this game. I've replayed it about twenty times. While, the new update is coming, does anyone know of any similar style games? Where its just point-and-click and kind of grinding games. I hate the games where there's puzzles and mini-games to move along, but that's all I seem to find.
I dunno, I feel like this game is more dark then it is fun. It's hard to be aroused when you genuinely just feel bad for the main character. As for games that are kinda similar, off the top of my head Kingdom of Deception and Highschool of Succubus. Personally I feel like Highschool of Succubus is more fun cause there's not any rape and little sadness.

This game has great potential and my suggestion would be a way to use the phone and call the characters, if its there already, i have no clue on how to use it, when it comes to ending the day, i suggest allowing you to watch TV or something if you are waiting for a specific time of day or day in general for events to trigger.
Well, i haven't got access to that version, but it is good to know its being added in, i only have access to 25.81, so i look forward to when that version goes public.
You need to be going along in Matt's route (Non-blackmail) for the scene to appear in Kate's romance route. No, the new Violet scenes don't all have new artwork yet.
I think you just have to do Matt's route without getting to the point where he blackmails you. Just be on his good side and do whatever he wants while doing Kate's romance route.
Yo I've ran across a problem but I'm not sure this is related to gameplay or a bug. The "damien" sprite doesn't trigger anything when I click it. I'm not sure if it's related to the routes I've gone trough, or if it's not suposed to be appearing because of said routes, or it's a bug or it might be something else. Would you need the save file to work on it? Or maybe some kind of log? Great game nevertheless. Seems like it has alot of content to search through. If I have any suggestions, it'd be to add sound sometime (I guess you might have run into this already), and make it so going into some extreme path doesn't block all content of other paths (I haven't really explored any paths fully yet, but I've ran into this problem in other games so I figured I'd suggest anyways).
Hello, deppler, Thanks for bringing this problem to our attention, we're currently working on a new update that will come out on New Years which features a lot of fixes to problems like the one you mentioned here. Also might I know what routes you were going down? Sometimes variables forget to turn off if you're going down a specific set of routes so that's most likely the cause of this bug. As for the sprite bug, that has already been addressed in the coming update.
The text is misaligned and goes off the screen sometimes on android. Other than that really enjoying, art is lovely and the characters are written well so far :D Looking forward to more
Android is a bit finicky since it's basically a PC port to android. We have some ideas how to make the Android version better supported once the game is more built up.

Is there any place other than renpy in roaming folder that this game keeps the persistent file? Before downloading the last public ver. I deleted the uni files in the roaming folder to avoid any conflicts, but even though the saves were gone, the persistent data was still there (apparent by the save page, some achievements and the scenes you could skip). I started the game anyway and in many scenes, I got into loops after choices. Not sure it was because of a conflict, but that's my guess.
I just wanted to say that I'm enjoying this game, and that I appreciate all the effort that you put into making them. I hope life is treating you all well, that you are all doing well, and that you are all staying safe.
I'm really loving this project and the way it expresses a bit more emotional depth than most games in it's genre. Chelsea's internal dialogue feels a bit more organic and charmingly flawed than most characters you usually play as in games like this.
Just came in to add my voice to reports of sudden tone shifts thanks to Matt rewriting reality. I avoided all Matt blackmail entirely for this playthrough but he suddenly showed up during board game night as if he had been blackmailing me the whole time.
absolutely loving the game, replayed in 5 times with different routes.
although i've encountered a bit of bugs, not the biggest deal, but right now it seems to be lacking in content. the replayability is most definitely there, but it feels sort of blueball-y because the story hasn't reached the point where it feels satisfying to go down routes yet.
all-in-all though, you're doing some fantastic work, will keep updated on this one!
also: as a developer, is there any games that inspired this one? like any game from other developers that you recommend while we wait for future updates?
I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying what is there so far. We do indeed have a long way to go before the game is up to the standard we have set for ourselves.
As for other games the inspired Uni... I can think of a few that use a similar event-based mechanic like Ashford Academy and HentHighSchool. Mainly, Uni was primarily out of want for a high quality femprotag H-Game.
We've been going pretty steadily to build up the pure yuri relationships like Kate and Violet. Kate's romance does have some good yuri moments, but in text only at the moment.
If you're in a relationship with Violet you can get a pretty good scene in the Bar job with her that does have artwork. Though the bar job is pretty buggy when you do several relationships at once and go down it so it's suggested to just go down Violet's + Bar for that scene. We're also working on a big new years update that will expand further on Violet's route (with new art as well) and overhaul the phone system.
Hey so i've encountered an error with the Damien romance line, i have the little date icon over his house but when i click it it does nothing, and trying to move time forward by walking around or sleeping skips right to what seems to be a sex scene after the date, after which Chelsea brings up something said by "alex" who unless im losing my mind i have yet to meet.
loving the game so far though, i am pleasantly surprised by how well written the characters are
Edit: after continuing i just got the "read act II of Macbeth" school scene two days in a row, not sure if they're connected but i figured I'd include it
The School scene stuff is random, though it shouldn't increase the acts as it goes. The icons are a bit wacky, and in the latest version it has been fixed I believe.
Will there ever be an option for you to wear different types of high heels, other than the ones that come with an outfit? Also, will there ever be scenes were characters comment on revealing clothing?

Or maybe some new middle-age (fat) teacher? Could be branched from Matt route or something like that, wouldn't mind vanilla/sub route. Or you have all character planed and there is no room for new characters? Anyway, keep up the great work!
[edit] I would also love to see second (more dramatic) Kate romance route when you are corrupted and she is not and she hate you because of that, but then she understand somehow that our protagonist really needed money/other people warmth and just wanted to protect Kate and she trying to take you from the corruption (now it seems cut off when you quit/keep the job), but that are just random thought. :P
Yes there is a route planned with the Teacher actually, but that will be way down the line after we've finished everything currently. There is also a modelling and hypnosis route planned for after 1.0 as well.
As for the Kate thing right now it'll have to stay as it is as scope creep for this game is a little bit out of hand as it is and we want to work on everything that is planned and already in the game. Great thoughts btw!

In this version the gallery is kinda bugged out. You'll need to save and reload for the images to appear properly. This took us a while, but we managed to fixed the problem with the latest version on our Patreon.
Ok so I recently tried to re download uni again after I deleted everything I had of it on my android but it still keeps saying that it didn't install or it had trouble parsing the package, do you guys no longer support android 9s or is my phone just being stupid
I'm not really sure what it could be here. The android packaging is all done by ren'py and we just use it to port the PC version. The version you download is the "universal" version but it should work. Sorry you're having trouble, but there isn't much we can do on that front. Sorry about that.

I noticed a bug with the bouncer at the club, that if I don't go in the first time but do the second time he still recognizes me like I went in before?
If you chose not to go to Mr. Harvey's room, Matt threatens to post the pictures. Is there an event for that? Or is it something that isn't actually programmed in as of right now.

Try deleting the saves file in the game folder.
I had the previous game folder completely deleted though, and the files in the roaming folder as well.

Sadly, Uni is not destined for Steam as steam's guidelines make it very difficult for us to put Uni on there.

What exactly is free mode? I don't really understand.
It allows you to set the ending day to whatever you want. I don't recommend it since currently day limit is set to the longest route anyway.
Will there be an expansion of the main stories? I currently finished the bakery route where she gets the implants and it ends after that.

Yes. The Bakery ends at it's route lock. After that you'll be put into a route where the entire story centers around the content of the bakery.

Huh, seems to be a problem with the naming on one of Damien's sprites. I'll double check to see if this is fixed in 0.26.

Why the mouse cannot be seen?
On android? The "mouse" only appears as you touch or hold down and the screen and drag.
For PC? I've never heard of this happening before and not sure what could cause it.

The blackmail content with Matt can be a bit wonky at times, though he does take pictures in the bathroom scenes and locker room scenes.
